Meet Jacquie Robb our October Partner of the Month! As always, we would like to extend a big thank you to Jacquie for all her hard work and support to our clients.

What is your favourite part of working as a Senior Move Manager?

Oh gosh there’s loads of favourite parts. I love meeting new clients but I would say giving them light of the end of a tunnel, when they think that all they have is obstacles in front of them when moving giving them a helping hand be it decluttering, changes of address or just a bit of advice or reassurance at the end of the phone knowing that there is someone who can help and that they are not alone.

What part of your work do you find the hardest?

I always have back up plans for disposing of furniture but occasionally these don’t always go to plan due to timings which I can find frustrating.

What did you do before becoming a SMM?

I was a Police Officer in the Metropolitan Police for 31 years.,

What misconceptions do people have about our work?

With regards to clients, they often think we are part of the removal company and are there to help with packing up they don't realise (until advised) that a SMM can find solutions to what the client believes are challenging problems. With non clients when I tell them what I do they love the fact that there is a company that delivers everything that TSMP does.

If you get a free moment, what do you do to unwind?

I wouldn’t say it’s particularly unwinding but I am a beekeeper, it’s a fascinating hobby.

What is the most unique request you have dealt with for a client and how did you do so?

I don’t think I’ve anything obscure or unique that I've had to deal with.
