Meet Emma Hurll our February Partner of the Month! As always, we would like to extend a big thank you to Emma for all her hard work and support to our clients.

Keep reading to find out some interesting facts about her time with the company…

What is your favourite part of working as a Senior Move Manager?

The clients – I find it very rewarding helping people who really need support at a critical time in their lives, and how much they value our support. And hearing about the interesting lives they have led.

What part of your work do you find the hardest?

I enjoy the variety of the job but the hardest perhaps is keeping to time and not doing more hours than I am paid for!

What did you do before becoming a SMM?

I was in marketing and event management for many years.

What misconceptions do people have about our work?

Perhaps that they never knew there was a whole decluttering/move managing industry.
Also, how small the new kitchens are and that they are unlikely to need cutlery to feed 40 people any more!

If you get a free moment, what do you do to unwind?

I love to dance salsa and other forms of latin dancing.

What is the most unique request you have dealt with for a client and how did you do so?

Moving a client a second time, only 6 months after the first move. Thankfully I still had all the furniture measurements and photos and, of course, all of the downsizing had already been done.
